Speech Stars is a pediatric speech pathology practice serving ages birth to 21

Our Approach:
Speech Stars was founded by two clinicians that are passionate about providing the best quality care possible. The clinicians at Speech Stars love learning about and implementing new treatment methods and bring all they have to offer to your child and your family. We believe in individualized treatment and fun, engaging therapy that includes both the child and care giver from beginning to end.

We believe the best therapy outcome is when the clinician follows the child's lead while providing direction and positive encouragement.

Together, we will ALL SHINE! Nationally Accredited & State Licensed
We are nationally certified and state licensed for speech language pathology and are qualified to evaluate and treat a variety of speech and language disorders and delays including language delays, articulation and phonology delays, Apraxia, pragmatic delays, auditory processing disorder, and other communicative disorders.

We are so excited to share that thanks to Landon Loftis we have a Blessing Box located outside of our Yanceyville office location. It is filled with warm clothes, socks, gloves, non perishable foods, books, and small toys for children! Landon and his family worked closely with us here at Speech Stars to complete his Eagle Scout Project and give back to his local community. He and his family put an amazing amount of time and energy into a heartfelt project that will help many families in Caswell County. Landon filled the box himself upon completion, and we have continued to add to it! We know weather is uncertain these next few days. Please stop by (convenient for drive by or walking) and grab any items you may need! Please share so that all families know they can stop by for help any time they need! ❤️⭐️

Our Shining Star this week is sweet Charlotte! 🎉✨

Charlotte has been doing fantastic things in speech therapy! She has been working on the words and signs for help, mine, and all done; as well as learning about her new AAC device!

She loves singing songs and working on filling in the blanks as well as learning how to play and (begrudgingly) take turns with Ms. Jillian and her little sister Raleigh!

We love hearing her voice more and more each week! Way to go Charlotte! 🥰

This week’s shining star is our buddy, Tate! 🎉

Tate has been working super hard with Miss Jillian and Miss Kayleigh! He is learning to use one and two word utterances for a variety of language functions. He is so excited to be learning how to use the names of friends, family members, and teachers!

He is also working really hard on learning how to play and communicate with his friends at school. He has had a language explosion over the past few weeks, and we love hearing his voice and seeing him smile!

Way to go, Tate! 👏🏼✨

This week’s Shining Star is Jase! 🎉✨

Over the past 2 years, Jase has demonstrated tremendous growth in his expressive and receptive language skills. He confidently asks for help when needed, researches answers independently and utilizes his compensatory strategies to aid him during his sessions and in the classroom. He loves to discuss sports, opinions and ideas with Ms. Sam. He has been an absolute joy to spend time with and Congratulations on your Speech Graduation.

Ms. Sam will see you in the stands!! We’re so proud of you, Jase! 💙

We are thrilled to officially introduce our newest SLP-Assistant, Kayleigh McDaniel! 🎉✨

Kayleigh is a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant and UNCG alum who loves supporting children in school-based settings. She creates interactive, play-filled sessions using games and crafts to help communication skills grow naturally. Guided by the belief that every child deserves a voice—regardless of the method—Kayleigh is committed to helping each student find the way they communicate best.

Outside of work, she loves reading everything from thrillers to cozy novels and spending time with her family, especially during movie nights, weekend outings, or spontaneous fun.

Kayleigh is working with us in Caswell County Schools as well as our Caswell clinic. Please give her a warm welcome! 🩷
