We’re excited to introduce our newest therapist, Janette Ramirez, and formally announce that we are offering bilingual Spanish speech services! 🎉⭐️
Janette is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping her patients find their voice and build meaningful communication skills. She earned
her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, with a special focus on English and Spanish speaking pediatric patients ages 2–18. Janette has provided
services in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, schools, Head Start programs, and virtual therapy. Her clinical experience includes supporting children with early language development, school-age language needs, articulation delays, childhood apraxia of speech, dysarthria, cognitive-communication challenges, and auditory processing difficulties. She
has worked with children across a wide range of diagnoses including cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, and other genetic syndromes. Janette is especially passionate about using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), gestalt language supports, child-led play, and sensory-regulating strategies to help children communicate in ways that
feel natural and empowering. She values strong collaboration with families and believes in building meaningful relationships to create functional and holistic therapy goals.
Janette’s family is originally from El Salvador, and she currently lives in Mebane, North Carolina with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, reading, making jewelry, and hiking.
