New Success Story we would like to share........

"I've been telling all my friends "I love my new physical therapy place, it's Weiss Physical Therapy." There are no "assistants" walking you through the same rote exercises week after week. Its not a "gym" with 15 people coming and going at once. It's one -on-one therapy with the physical therapist; John is with you the entire time (about an hour or if it goes longer, he's not concerned)! The best part is he mixes it up and adds new stuff (exercises/stretches/equipment) every single visit! He is open, thorough and responsive to any questions and concerns. Weiss Physical Therapy is located in a stunning office building and is always exceptionally clean. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming. John obviously loves what he does as he is often there helping his patients or doing new evaluations during evening hours, when others have already clocked out!"

UPDATE....Regarding recent orders from Governor Wolf for closures of non-essential businesses.

Weiss Physical Therapy will remain OPEN based on the list provided from the Governor's office allowing "Ambulatory Health Care Services" to continue physical operations.

We will continue to maintain a clean facility and also continue best practices with proper hand washing with patients and employees. In an effort to maintain a safe clinic, we continue to encourage our patients to call us prior to your visit if you or a family member should display or have come into contact with anyone who displays the signs or symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever or shortness of breath). Also, we will ask that any of our more vulnerable patients that are at a higher risk per the CDC (medical history of: diabetes, heart disease, lung disease), or have compromised immune systems to stay home at this time.

***Our Wellness Program will be put on hold at this time**** Therefore if you currently are a wellness member, for gym or Hydrotrack, please stay home until we resume the Wellness Program. We will make a post when we can resume normal full operations. Thanks for your understanding.

Everyone be safe and God Bless!

To our patients:

As our community continues to navigate the uncharted journey through this pandemic, we wanted to ensure open communication with our valued patients and reassure you that our office remains a safe environment. While attention on patient safety and site cleanliness has intensified in recent weeks, we have been focusing on these measures for years and are confident our locations will remain a safe environment for our staff and valued patients.

At this time, our sites will remain open to provide continued care to our valued patients. We suggest that patients attend therapy on their own unless they need to be accompanied by a caretaker.

In an effort to maintain this safe space, we are asking our patients call us prior to your visit if you or a family member should display or have come into contact with anyone who displays the signs or symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever or shortness of breath).

Thank you for continuing to support as we navigate this unfortunate situation together.

Sincerely,

Weiss Physical Therapy

Pretty amazing feat!!

It's an incredible feat at any age. But George Hood, who set the male world record for longest time in the abdominal plank position, is 62 and says he's in the greatest shape of his life.

Recent Patient Success Story..................

"This is my second time back at Weiss Physical Therapy. John and his staff are true professionals who know what they are doing. They do what they do with compassion and listening to the patient.

John does a beginning assessment that he uses it to design a program to achieve your specific goals. John stays with you throughout the complete program, giving you continuity of care.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that he uses to guide you throughout your program. He listens to you and makes adjustments that you may need based on how you are handling the therapy.

I consider Weiss Physical Therapy to be the best in the Central PA area and highly recommend him to anyone needing physical therapy"

Always consider all conservative options before electing for surgery. Physical Therapy is one of the options to explore:

If surgery is recommended, you might want to get a second opinion from your PT. https://ppsapta.org/marketing/blog/

Here is a testimonial from one of our patients we would like to share:

"I've received lower back treatment by Dr. Weiss several times and have always left feeling better and better with each visit. Dr. Weiss is very professional, skilled, and caring. His staff is also friendly and amazing. In comparison with other PTs I have visited, I like the fact that the whole session is with Dr. Weiss. I was not handed over to an aid after my initial assessment.
Dr. Weiss' facility is impecable. Cleanliness is to me a great sign of caring about your patients and their health. I would recommend Dr. Weiss to anyone"
