Independent doesn’t mean alone.

A Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) gives your practice the strength of scale, without giving up control.

Here’s why more independent physicians are joining CINs like PACN:

- Shared resources to reduce admin burden
- Data-driven care coordination that improves outcomes
- Stronger payer contracting through collective negotiation
- Preserved autonomy in how you run your practice

It’s about standing stronger...together.

Learn how PACN helps independent practices thrive.

The future of primary care doesn’t belong to big systems; it belongs to doctors who stay independent and innovate.

Independent primary care is evolving fast:

• Tech-forward care like telehealth and remote monitoring
• Better data for proactive, value-based decision-making
• More flexible models – DPC, hybrid, and team-based care
• Strong networks like PACN that protect autonomy

Independence isn’t a risk. It’s a roadmap.

Let’s build the future on our own terms.

MIPS reporting isn’t just about compliance. It’s about protecting your bottom line.

The better your score, the better your reimbursement.

Here’s how to stay ahead in 2025:

🔹 Start early – Waiting until Q4 is a recipe for panic
🔹 Use your EHR – Automate data capture whenever possible
🔹 Track your metrics – know where you're strong and where you need more focus
🔹 Engage your team – Clinical and admin staff both play a role in quality metrics
🔹 Partner smart – Use a registry or consultant if you're overwhelmed

Bottom line: MIPS is evolving, and so should your strategy.

Keeping patients engaged isn’t just good care; it’s good business.

Here are four proven strategies to boost patient retention in independent practices:

Follow up after visits – A quick message shows you care
Make rebooking easy – Offer convenient online tools or staff follow-up
Ask for feedback – Patients want to be heard
Stay relevant – Use email or text to share helpful, tailored health content

Patients have choices – Make sure staying with you is the easiest one.

You’ve got happy patients...but your online reviews don’t show it.

Sound familiar? You’re not alone. Most satisfied people don’t leave reviews…unless you make it easy and ask at the right time.

Here’s what works:
• Ask while they’re still smiling: From a great visit, a successful outcome, or even a thank-you moment
• Send a simple text or email with a direct review link
• Follow up gently: Sometimes people mean to review and just forget
• Respond to all reviews (yes, even the tough ones) to show you care

Your next 5-star review is just one good conversation away. Start asking—and watch your reputation grow. No time to do this? Ask us about partners that can do it for you.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Dr. Musaddiq Nazeeri, a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and our PACN, and a dedicated physician who served his patients with compassion.

Dr. Nazeeri was known not only for his clinical expertise, but for his commitment to community health as one of the few private physician offices that remained open throughout COVID. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Nazeeri’s family and colleagues, and all who knew him.

August is a great time to remind patients about the importance of staying current on vaccinations—especially children heading back to school and older adults due for boosters.

As an independent practice, you play a key role in keeping communities protected. Use this month to:
✅ Review immunization records during patient visits
✅ Promote vaccine availability via your website and social media
✅ Educate hesitant patients with CDC-backed resources

Let’s keep preventive care a priority.

Chronic pain affects 1 in 5 adults—and many are under-treated or reluctant to speak up. Pain Awareness Month is a chance to emphasize compassionate, patient-centered care.

Independent physicians have the flexibility to:
🧠 Screen for pain more holistically
🤝 Offer coordinated referrals (PT, behavioral health, ortho)
📊 Track outcomes across pain management plans

Remind your patients: they don’t have to suffer silently. And remind your staff: listening is a powerful first step.
