🌟 Walker Workout of the Week – Week 1: “The Morning Mobility Mambo”
🕺 A gentle 5-minute circuit to get your day rolling!
🧼 1. Handlebar Warm-Up (Arm Rolls)
Hold onto your walker
Roll shoulders forward 10x, then backward 10x
💡 Say, “Good morning, joints!” with each roll
🦵 2. Step & Tap
March in place, tapping toes slightly in front
10 taps per foot
🎶 Play your favorite tune and tap to the beat!
🪑 3. Sit & Shine
Sit in a sturdy chair, walker in front for balance
Lift one leg straight, point your toes like a dancer 💃
Hold 3 seconds, switch sides
Repeat 10 times per leg
🧍♂️ 4. The Side Slide
Hold walker, gently lift one leg out to the side
Tap your toe to the floor, then return
10 reps per side
🦋 Pretend you’re stepping over a small butterfly!
👐 5. Victory Arms!
Seated or standing
Raise both arms slowly like you’re winning a race 🏆
Lower with control
10 reps
