Truitt Oral Surgery This is the official home page for Truitt Oral Surgery in Mechanicsville, VA. Our practice is dedicated to the highest level of care for our patients.

Dr. Truitt is a native Virginian, born and raised in Virginia Beach. He graduated from Virginia Tech with honors in 1999. He then graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Truitt completed his four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency from VCU in 2008. He entered private practice in 2008 and started Truitt Oral Surgery in April of 2012. Dr. Truitt is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Truitt’s specially interests are third molar surgery, dentoalveolar surgery and outpatient general anesthesia.

We have some new additions to our team here at Truitt Oral Surgery! Please help us give a warm welcome to Alycia and Masha! You may remember Alycia’s face because she has worked with us before. After a few years’ “Mommy Break” she is back in scrubs and hasn’t missed a beat. Masha is brand new to the field and already shows great promise with her drive to learn and ability to retain and utilize her new knowledge efficiently. Both of these ladies have big hearts and we are blessed to have them on our team!
