Plush Mobile Clinic FAQ’s
How do I schedule my groups?
Children aged 3-6 (includes combination of older 2’s/3’s):
Classes may not exceed 20 children, 10-15 is recommended.
Groups of 10 will run about 1 hr
Groups of 15 will run about 1 hr 15 min
Groups of 20 will run about 1 hr 30 min
Children aged 2:
Classes may not exceed 10 children
Sessions will run about 30 minutes
Toddlers:
Classes may not exceed 10 children and will need an additional teacher for groups larger than 5. Sessions will run about 15-30 minutes
These times are recommendations and the clinic can be adapted to meet your specific needs. Please let Nurse Laurie know of any scheduling concerns.
What is the cost for this year?
Rates for June 2026-May 2027
Children in the standard program: $8.50/child
Children in the two’s program: $6.50/child
Children in the toddlers program: $4.50/child
Directors: What do I need to do before the clinic?
Remember the clinic will need a few large tables and 1-2 chairs. Let Nurse Laurie know if this is a challenge!
Remind parents to send kids in with their stuff animals. There are always extras just in case but the kids enjoy it more when they have their special friend with them.
Make sure teachers are aware of their role!
Teachers: What will I be doing at the clinic?
When the clinic starts, Nurse Laurie will ask you to send up 3-4 kids at a time to check in. As one kid goes back to the books, please send another. Please spell each child’s name for Nurse Laurie to write on the kids’ packets. Please do not ask the kids to spell their names as this often adds substantial time and makes it more difficult to get through all of the material.
During the clinic, please assist with behavior management when needed and take all the photos you want (depending on your school’s/center’s policy)
How do I pay for the clinic?
At the completion of the final session, Nurse Laurie will send an invoice to the email address on file (please ask if you need to use a different email address for invoices) with the total fee based upon participation (no charges for expected students that are not at school that day). Payments can be made by check at time of service, mailed or by electronic debit from a bank account. Plush Mobile Clinic is no longer able to accept credit card payments, I am very sorry for any inconvenience! Payments are due 30 days from date of invoice.
Can students attend a different group if they were not present for their class’s session?
Absolutely! Please use your best judgment as to which session to place the child(ren) in.
