Reiki - a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is like a massage for the soul.

It can be performed in person or from a distance, on humans, animals, plants, situations - really the sky is the limit. It works by helping a person relax, find peacefulness and calm by opening essential energy channels in the body (Chakras - which are typically closed by modern day stressors and traumas). When all energies within the body are aligned, this in turn can help a person heal themselve

s or their situation(s), gently when they are willing to take the journey within. The most important part of receiving a Reiki Treatment is allowing the energy to flow. Reiki is not a magic bullet that will solve your problems for you...(is there such a thing?). For those looking for an instant cure or who do not want to let go of their pain in life - they may think it does not work. This is ok - they will allow healing when their soul is ready for it.

I am a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master/Teacher residing in Cedar County, Iowa. I am physically available for house, hospital, hospice, nursing home, care giver support, etc. calls most evenings and Friday's through Monday's.
