Mechanicsville Specialty Care is a skilled nursing and long-term care community providing compassionate, individualized care for our residents, while also caring for their family's well-being and peace of mind. We serve residents from Cedar County, Iowa, and many surrounding communities. We enjoyed a visit from some critters from Camp Courageous. Our paws-itive new friends included rabbits named Hocus Pocus and Princess along with Tator Tot, the guinea pig. Special thanks to Carl, their handler, who allowed our residents to snuggle them!

🎉 We had a celebrity Bingo caller for our Tuesday morning session! 🌟 Terry, who is the son of our beloved resident Faye, brought an extra spark of excitement to the game. Everyone enjoyed listening to Terry call the numbers with his charming voice and engaging personality. It truly made the experience more fun and memorable! Plus, we all had successful Bingos! 🥳🙌 Thank you, Terry, for making our day special!

Families attended our Veteran's Day program to assist in celebrating their honor. 🎖️ It was a heartfelt gathering where we expressed our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country. Families shared stories, laughter, and tears as we remembered the sacrifices made by our veterans. ❤️ It was an opportunity for us all to come together as a community and show our appreciation for their courage and dedication. Let’s continue to honor them not just on Veterans Day, but every day!

Your presence made the event truly special as we honored those who have served our country. A heartfelt thank you for assisting us in passing out certifications to our esteemed veterans. It was wonderful to see everyone mingling, sharing stories, and socializing with our residents.
