The Gianna Centers are named after Gianna Beretta Molla, an Italian pediatrician from the 20th century who courageously decided to continue her pregnancy when she found that she had a uterine tumor. She delivered a healthy baby girl, also named Gianna, but died tragically 8 days later. Gianna of Albany is pleased to be the first practice within a 2 hour radius able to offer NaProTECHNOLOGY™, the exciting breakthrough in women's health and fertility. This breakthrough allows you and Dr. Patterson to work together to craft a plan for your health and fertility that is unique to you and to your body. You and your input become an integral part of your care. This will require visits that are significantly longer than those in traditional practices. In order to provide this kind of intensive, personalized care, Dr. Patterson has simplified basic office tasks.
