Julie Routley, LMT I am a licensed massage therapist located in Mecosta, MI at Routley Chiropractic. Hello! My name is Julie and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist.

I started this page while going to school as an avenue to let my friends and family know about my journey through massage school. Since 2014, massage has become a licensed profession requiring 500 hours of education and hands on experience, as well as passing a state mandated test called the mBLEX. Through a lot of hard work and dedication, I succeeded in completing the requirements and becoming a LMT. Now that I am licensed, my hope with this page is to educate and equip people with the information they need to help make informed decisions about their healthcare. One of the biggest reasons Massage Therapy has become very popular is because there are many physical, mental and emotional benefits. Some benefits include:
- helps improve mental diseases such as bulimia, depression and anxiety.
- helps reduce tension and promotes relaxation
- improves self-image and renews confidence

Hello! My name is Julie and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I have been licensed since Oct, 2016. I work at Routley Chiropractic Care Center in Mecosta, MI.

A little about me: I graduated from the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education in August of 2016 where I received training in therapeutic massage, Swedish massage, lymphatic massage, pregnancy massage, infant massage and reflexology. My techniques include deep tissue, trigger point, active isolated stretching, positional release and many more.

I was born and raised in Big Rapids, MI. I attended Ferris State University where I earned a Bachelor’s of Applied Sciences in Biology. My parent’s are Dr David (chiropractor) and Alice Routley. I’ve worked for my dad since 2008 as the receptionist/office manager/chiropractic assistant and began doing massage when I received my license.

I worked briefly at the Soaring Eagle Casino spa. Nov, 2017-March, 2018. It was an amazing experience where I was able to learn and grow as a LMT. I went into it knowing it would be temporary and I left knowing it wasn’t meant for me. I definitely prefer to (and am lucky to) work in my dad’s chiropractic office.
