Medford Monuments provides custom design, creation, placement and maintenance services for all types of monuments and markers for your departed loved ones in the Medford and Northern Wisconsin area. I WANT TO GET A QUOTE
On any given day we will receive a call or two from someone with this starting dialog; we even have website contact so you can email us a request. Unfortunately, this is not something that is a black and white answer anymore than if you called a car dealership or appliance dealer and asked them to give you a quote on a car is or a washer and dryer combination.
Our memorial consultants are trained to ask the important questions to help you make the decisions you need to make. Sometimes these are tough questions, but you will find their sensitivity to your feelings is of the utmost importance; if you need to make more than one visit, we totally understand. When obtaining quotes, it is essential to ask comprehensive questions, especially if you are unfamiliar with the process. A lower price may not include all necessary services, such as debris removal, which could result in additional costs and effort on your part. The key lesson is to inquire thoroughly, as higher-priced services often reflect a more complete and quality-oriented approach, ensuring the desired outcome is achieved efficiently and effectively.

We are immensely proud that we can offer the service of installing veteran service plaques, niches, and medallions on the memorial stones of those who have served our country. Typically, plaques and niches are placed on the back of a veteran’s stone and medallions are placed by the veteran’s name on the front of the memorial stone. If a veteran has just a single space and the cemetery rules allow, the plaque can be placed on a slant monument on a foundation or on a slant monument with a base.

We have been waiting to show this work of art and today seems like the perfect time. Every aspect of this stone has a meaning for this woman who spent a lot of time and thought designing just exactly what she wanted to say.
This stone stands just a little over 5 feet tall with a cross on top and is a stunning example of Raven Black granite. Take a minute to notice every little thing on this one-of-a-kind stone, right down to the smiling face under her nickname, “Amazing Grace.” The back is a salute to her participation in a Christian mission project along with her chocolate chip cookie recipe for all to see as well and enjoy.
Could you ask for a more fitting dedication to a life well-lived? Thank you for allowing us to create this for you Grace. 😊

Memorial Day serves as a solemn tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States. Over time, Memorial Day has become a day of national reflection and we will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025 out of respect for the fallen. Photo courtesy of findagrave.com

The Beauty of Brown
Brown is sometimes thought to be a blah color, just no spark, plain, but not when it comes to granite. Brown granite is totally unique, displaying a rich tapestry of earthy tones and intricate patterns that make each memorial stone distinct.
