Our Journey

Pamela Rivera, PMHNP, started her journey 38 years ago as a registered nurse. Pam has a diverse background as a mental health nurse working both in-patient and out-patient, psychiatric emergency care settings. In 2005 Pam went back to school, graduating from Oregon Health Science University with board certification through American Nurses Associated Credentialing Center and became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Pam provides care both to individuals and families ranging from eight years old to 65 years old. Pam’s primary focus is to provide Medication Management, she may provide brief supportive/solution cognitive behavioral therapy in some cases. Pam uses an evidence based approach to provide a collaborative partnership with both clients and families, helping them make informed positive choices for themselves.

Shannon Sheats, PMHNP, has attended local schools in the valley since moving here in 1971 with her family. She earned her BS in Communication from SOU in 1991 and returned to earn her Bachelors in Nursing from OHSU at SOU in 1998 and has been working in the mental health field ever since. Shannon has worked with adults as well as children and in 2016 returned back to school to pursue earning her Masters from Gonzaga University in the summer of 2019.

Our office currently accepts most major Commercial Insurances. We do NOT accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time. Please contact our office with any questions you may have.
