The PeachJAM is Coming — and You're Invited. 🍑

Meet us in Atlanta on September 12-13 for the IgG4ward! PeachJAM, where connection, education, and empowerment come together in a powerful way.

In this image, you’ll see the IgG4Warrior pose—arms raised in strength and solidarity—and the shadow of a crow behind. Why a crow? 🐦‍⬛

In Japan, IgG4-RD was once described as “a crow flying through the dark night.” Mysterious. Overlooked. Hard to spot.

Like the crow, IgG4-RD has been around for centuries, often hidden in plain sight. But now, we’re starting to see it. To name it. To understand it. And, most importantly, to confront it face-to-face and tackle it head-on..

🗓 Try Not To Miss This Week’s Fireside Chat: A Conversation on RPF & IgG4-RD
Friday, July 11 | 12 PM ET | Live on Zoom

🎥 “It was highly suspicious for malignancy.”

That’s what the radiologist said when they found the blockage in her ureter.

What looked like kidney stones turned out to be something much more complicated—Retroperitoneal Fibrosis (RPF), a known manifestation of IgG4-RD.

Hosted by Dr. John Stone with guest expert Dr. James Tomlinson (Hammersmith Hospital, London, UK), this conversation will explore RPF, its connection to IgG4-RD and the patient experience.

💬 A live Q&A will follow the discussion—bring your questions and join the conversation.

👉 Watch the short clip below of the conversation with a person living with IgG4-RD and RPF, one of few that will be highlighted on Friday.

This powerful story is one of several featured in our upcoming IgG4ward! Fireside Chat on Retroperitoneal Fibrosis and IgG4-RD.

What is Retroperitoneal Fibrosis (RPF)?

RPF is a condition where fibrous tissue builds up in the back of the abdomen—an area called the retroperitoneum. This tissue can squeeze or block organs like the kidneys and ureters, leading to pain and organ-threatening complications.

It’s a common manifestation of IgG4-RD and one that often requires a customized treatment approach combining medications and procedures.

💬 Join us on July 11 for a Fireside Chat hosted by IgG4ward! and Dr. John Stone, featuring Dr. James Tomlinson, a nephrologist at Hammersmith Hospital in London—plus real stories from people impacted by RPF.

🗓 Thursday, July 11
🕛 12:00 PM ET | Zoom

📲 Registration opens June 23
