Using her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, we will talk about different ways to address your concerns and healthier ways of thinking, but we won’t ever judge the choices that you’ve made. We work to foster a safe space where you can be honest about who you are and what may be troubling you.The relationship therapy available includes treatment for healthy maintenance, repair, or amicably resolving disputes to feel heard, understood, and eventually prompt direct improvements in communication, problem-solving, and building resiliency in your relationship. S*x therapy is geared to be relaxed, informative, and genuine. Expect to discover your playful side as you explore each other through at-home exercises done privately between sessions. Trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy, Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy, IMAGO therapy, and the Gottman Method, Cathi uses your personalized goals to customize your therapeutic experience and enhance your secure functioning together. As a member of the American Association of S*xuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, Cathi is currently in the process of completing her AASECT S*x Therapist certification that on top of her current clinical licensure, includes 90 clock hours of academic coursework in sexuality education, 10 clock hours of structured group work, 300 hours of supervised clinical treatment of patients presenting with sexual concerns, and 50 hours of supervision with an AASECT Certified Supervisor of S*x Therapy.Cathi is completing her PhD in Clinical S*xology at Modern S*x Therapy Institutes and is continuing her research on the ways resiliency in relationships correlates with sexual health and wellness across the lifespan.

Our Story

Your Rogue Valley Relationship Therapist. Successful individuals & couples who complete an intentional period of time at Wellness Lab & Clinics often report increased levels of satisfaction, reward, and happiness in their relationship(s). Together we track and trend the movement of these key areas throughout the therapy process. This customized approach to therapy helps clients identify their primary goals in seeking therapy and helps them better determine when they can begin reducing the frequency of therapy - which is often seen when a client feels confident in the skills they've built into their lives & relationship(s).

The couple’s therapy available includes treatment for healthy maintenance, repair, or amicably resolving disputes to feel heard, understood, and eventually prompting direct improvements in communication, problem-solving and building resiliency in your relationship. Cathi has over a decade of experience providing mental health treatment and is trained in Gottman couples therapy and Integrated Behavioral Couples Therapy.
