Dr. Julianne Allen is a 2021 graduate from general surgery residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Medford after her training to join the truly unique practice at Oregon Surgical Specialists, where the surgeons are extremely well-rounded and experienced in the surgeries they perform, technically skilled, and supportive of one another. Dr. Allen has experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of general surgical conditions including hernias, diseases of the gallbladder, malignant and benign intestinal disease, malignant and benign breast disease, acid reflux disease, and diseases of the skin and soft tissues. She performs minimally invasive robotic surgery, which has been shown to decrease hospital length of stay and improve patient recovery for many surgical conditions. She also has a special interest in treating and caring for patients with breast cancer. Dr. Allen has a warm demeanor and takes the time to help patients fully understand their surgical condition and management options.



When she isn’t taking care of her patients, Dr. Allen finds joy in being an aunt, dog mom, plant mom, and traveling.

Help us welcome James Matson, Physician Assistant, to our practice! James earned his Masters of Physician Assistant Students at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania in spring of 2022. James was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and made the move to join the Oregon Surgical Specialists team in summer of 2022. In his free time, James enjoys hiking the surrounding local areas, camping, playing in soccer leagues, and working on art projects at home.

This Saturday, October 8th, Asante is hosting its inaugural Asante Walk For Hope. This mile-long walk will take place around the new Heimann Cancer Center and Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford. This walk is to celebrate cancer survivors as well as raise money for treatment. After the walk there will be a celebration with food trucks and music. A native Californian, Dr. Street received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of California in Davis, CA. He was a surgical intern and resident at UC Davis. Dr. Street was a Research Fellow and Clinical Fellow in vascular surgery at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. He is board certified for General Surgery and Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Street holds professional memberships in the Oregon Medical Association, the Jackson County Medical Society, Pacific Northwest Vascular Society, American Association of Vascular Surgery, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgery.
