Our next batch of Care Packages for young adults go out next month. Do you know someone who would love to get one? Eligible young adults have:

-Obtained their high school diploma or equivalent, and
-Spent time in foster care as a youth, and
-Are still engaged with services through the Massachusetts DCF, and
-Are currently furthering their education in any way (vocation training, or a 2- or 4-year college)

Check out this wilderness opportunity for young adults who have experienced foster care, feel free to share to spread the word!

The Compass Program is offering an Acadia August Trip for any young adult (ages 18-24) who has experienced foster care. This trip is from August 19 -August 23 and will be a 5-day wilderness expedition in Acadia National Park centered around outdoor skills such as hiking, kayaking, and exploration. The meeting point for this trip is Wenham, MA and there is a one-time $50 confirmation fee. Compass has 7 spaces available for this group.
