Back to school means back to flu season!

We are now scheduling flu vaccine appointments. Getting an annual flu vaccine is an important public health intervention for everyone, but it is especially important for those of increased risk. This includes: children between 6-24 months of age, children with certain chronic medical conditions (such as asthma or diabetes), or children living with family members who are immunocompromised. Please speak with your pediatrician about what is best for your individual child.

Last week was the end of an era here at Pediatric Associates of Medford. Dr. Clifford began her pediatric medicine career with us and we were fortunate to have had her until her retirement. She will be dearly missed by generations of patients and has had such an amazing impact on our practice in her roles as a longtime provider, behavioral health champion, NCQA medical home accreditation team member, and managing partner. We wish Dr. Clifford all the best in her next chapter!
