Big Pinkie is Coming to Life!

We’re renovating the old Sis-Q Motel in Medford to expand our capacity to serve the community. Inside our team, we call it “Big Pinkie” for its unique exterior color.

Since we’re making some noise with this transformation, it felt fitting to mention another famous Big Pink—the one that inspired The Band’s debut album Music From Big Pink, a classic that made its own kind of beautiful noise.

We believe our Big Pinkie will make a different kind of music—one of hope, healing, and second chances—thanks to our incredible team and the new Emergency Lodging this building will provide for those at risk.

Yesterday, members of our Board of Directors joined us for a special walk-through of the Cobblestone Village construction site—soon to become our Family Treatment Campus, a one-of-a-kind space dedicated to healing, hope, and keeping families together through recovery.

We’re so grateful to the board members who took the time to tour the site and see firsthand the transformation in progress. Your commitment to our mission and to the families we serve is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when leadership and compassion come together.

Thank you for believing in this vision—and for championing the future of behavioral health and recovery in our community. 💚

Latino leaders came together last night in Medford to pause, connect, and reflect on what’s working in our organizations and communities, the changes we’re navigating, and how we can continue to support one another. Grateful to everyone who made this gathering possible. 💛

Board Member Spotlight: Trevor Arnold
OnTrack's Board President | Deputy Chief of Police, Medford Police Department

From Medford roots to leading change in our valley, Trevor Arnold embodies what it means to serve with heart, vision, and purpose.

A proud Medford native, Trevor began his public safety career with the Medford Police Department in 1998 as a Community Service Officer. Over the years, he has served in many roles, including Drug Detection K9 Handler, Field Training Officer, Spanish Interpreter, and Drug Recognition Expert. As Lieutenant, he helped launch MPD’s innovative Livability Team, and today he continues to serve our city as Deputy Chief of Police.

Trevor holds a degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University and studied abroad at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico, bringing a global perspective to his local leadership. He is also currently completing a Master's degree from the University of Virginia.

His commitment to community extends well beyond his role in law enforcement. Trevor volunteers with several local service organizations and serves as President of OnTrack’s Board of Directors. We’re proud to work alongside him in building a healthier, safer Rogue Valley.

He is also a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart and a proud dad of two. His daughter attends the University of Portland and his son studies at Lane Community College.

We are grateful for Trevor’s leadership and his dedication to both OnTrack and the broader Medford community.

OnTrack Strengthens the Continuum of Care With New Sis-Q Emergency Lodging

At OnTrack Rogue Valley, we believe that creating opportunities for recovery starts by meeting people where they are—and providing a safe place to heal.

We’re proud to announce the transformation of the former Sis-Q Motel into our newest Emergency Lodging facility. This site will offer 12 private bedrooms, ADA accessibility, and on-site case management and peer support, helping individuals stabilize while they wait for treatment.

Renovations are currently underway, and we expect the site to open by late fall 2025.

Why this matters:
✅ 67% of guests in our Emergency Lodging programs have successfully transitioned into treatment
✅ 250–300 individuals expected to be served annually at the Sis-Q site
✅ Partnerships with Jackson County Oregon USA and Jackson Care Connect are making this vision a reality

This Emergency Lodging site is more than a place to stay. It’s a vital part of OnTrack’s full continuum of care, providing individuals with the stability and support they need to break the cycle of substance use and homelessness.

Together, we’re bridging gaps, renewing hope, and strengthening the path to recovery.💙
