There’s nothing like the smells and sounds of a crackling fire. Whether sheltered inside from a winter white-out or gathered 'round a pit for some seasonal smores, it’s amazing what you learned once the egg nog started flowing. The years may change the numbers gathered, but a well-told story can make it seem like they’re still close by. This holiday, take the time to remember loved ones past, and share the stories with loved ones present.

They said you’d never, ever get one. And just when you thought it would be another “dog" of a present, somewhere along the way all that begging and pleading really paid off. You still have all the pictures of that special morning, but who needs them when the memories are just as vivid? You couldn’t thank your parents enough, and of course you took great care of him. Of course. Funny now how the story seems to repeat itself. This holiday, take the time to remember loved ones past, and share the stories with loved ones present.
