Nature is always in the background of our space, and sometimes, it becomes the star of the show!

Take a walk and make the connection with the earth, trees, air, animals, and wind and rain.

Embrace nature and let it help you heal.

I had a few moments today to listen to a speaker. She spoke of the idea of unity. She commented that although we talk about being unified, living in unity with others, and say “we are one”, she asked us to think about this.

She noted that what we say does not often match up to our actions, or our words. It was something to think on.

If we live our lives communicating one thing, but acting differently, who can we turn to or believe?

With many people out of sorts for various reasons these days, it would be helpful to have consistency in our communication.

Maybe looking inside our heart center and finding peace and harmony is a good start. Here we can define our own feeling of unity and envision how it manifests in the world we live in today.

Our heart center holds no judgement, no anger, no hatred. Instead, it reaches for peace, calm, love, and unity.

Unity for all. Peace for all, including our Universe. A sense of calm for those around us and in the world. And, a love and appreciation for nature, breathing, and life itself.

You may consider doing a meditation on cultivating within yourself the feeling of unity for those you do not know, have never met, and who may randomly cross your path.

Your heart center awaits your sense of living in peace and unity.

Sometimes I find that being quiet, listening for my inner voice, and just being still, slows the world down enough for me to feel a greater sense of appreciation and gratitude.

It’s unfortunate how easy it is to overlook simple, yet important things including people right within our presence!

The other evening I went to a poetry gathering in town. It was amazing to listen to brilliant and heartfelt words describe poets’perception of reality. And even more profound, the gathering of individuals who shared, connected, supported, and openly shared their appreciation for each poet’s shared experience.

From lighthearted genuine ‘seeing through a child’s eyes’ to sharing hurtful events experienced as a child, there was a sense of compassionate support and kindness energy, lifting and connecting us with each other.

How brave to share memories. How loving to support each other. How great to be a human being with feelings and compassion! It made me think, ‘there are nice people in the world, they are not all gone!”

It was a lovely evening and an authentic experience that awakened my inner child and made me recognize a dimension of myself I’ve been missing.

We all have an inner child. We all want to have a voice in our lives. I believe we need to speak and live from a place of authenticity— of calmness and our sense of purpose. It may help us be more happy with ourselves and lend some space for our inner child to breathe.

At my practice, I work with people of all ages who struggle with themselves, and the world around them. I guide them to their authentic and awesome self that I see so clearly, and they can’t see.

Taking the time to listen and feel, sitting quietly with yourself may help open the door to your inner world.
Be kind and not judgemental while you discover the layers of your personhood.

I am so fortunate to have been in the presence of such nice people for a few hours that evening. It started me on a new exploration of seeing things around me differently.

It is not hard to do. You may want to give it a try. You have nothing to lose, and all to gain!

Until nxt time,
Namaste 🙏 .

We are swiftly moving into the new year with schedules and hours of the day getting filled up quickly,

The cold weather doesn’t help us keep a cheery spirit, unless you have a really good reason to go out and play in the cold.

It is a good time to think about your self-care. That’s right✅. You deserve it! What can you do for your personal self-care that is not costly and is enjoyable?

Consider the following ideas:

- take private time during the day ( about 20 minutes) and journal your thoughts, dreams, and passions that you want to pursue. As you do this daily, set out a plan to fulfill your desires.

- consider a massage twice a month because you are worth it!

- go for a 20 min walk in the early morning or early evening, and take pictures with your phone. Maybe post them so other people can enjoy them!

- when was the last time you had a facial, or a pedicure and manicure? Maybe it’s time to think of this as something you want to plan as a routine for yourself?

- call a friend to say “hi”, and catch up for a few minutes. It will mean a lot to both of you, l’m sure

- go for a cup of tea to a local cafe and sit for ten minutes and “people watch”(it’s a lot of fun)

- consider opening up a new book and reading a chapter a day, reflecting on it and looking forward to the nxt chapter ahead!

Most of these ideas are easily accessed and won’t break the bank. Each idea will help you smile at yourself and feel good that you gave yourself a well deserved gift.

I hope you try one or two of these, maybe all of them! Challenge yourself to create a “ my time” in your calendar that continues each month.

Sounds fun! I personally believe we need more fun, smiles, and expressions of self love.

Try it! Share your findings with us! We can help each other by sharing our experiences.

It’s worth a try, don’t you think?

Have fun! Stay warm n in good health!

I was recently at a cafe and there was a sign in pink neon lights:
‘You are exactly where you need to be.’
This caught me off-guard and made me think, ‘Why is that here in a cafe/deli?’
It’s a good message to ponder for a moment. How often are we rushing to go here, or to get to there? Sometimes, we are so ahead of ourselves that we don’t realize what we are missing, or what we were doing in the present moment!
It’s a statement that makes you stop and think. It also reminds us to be present, mindful, and happy with ourselves in the present moment.
These aspects of a simple statement in pink neon lights is so important. Racing, rushing, and fretting causes fatigue and inflammation. This stress response makes us vulnerable to disease and has a negative impact on our relationships- with ourselves and others.
Slowing down has its benefits. Being present and in the moment gives you time to breathe, reflect, and be your best at whatever you are doing.
So, maybe give this a try and see how you feel. I think it’s well worth the benefits in terms of productivity, accuracy, and a sense of wellbeing.
I hope you have fun with this experiment!
Have a great day!
Nameste 🙏
