Today, we recognize World Teen Mental Wellness Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of mental health and overall emotional well-being for teens and young adults. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 7 teens experience mental health conditions, highlighting the need to offer our love and support.
At MCT, we are committed to providing compassionate care to every client and family we serve. We want to remind teens to practice self-care, show themselves kindness, and understand that it is okay to not be okay. If you are struggling, reaching out is a sign of strength. If you know a teen, take a moment today to check in. A simple conversation can make a difference.
By continuing to normalize conversations around mental health and reducing stigma, we can create a healthier space for young minds to grow and thrive. For more information, please visit: https://www.nami.org/kids-teens-and-young-adults/
