Tight Psoas = Low Back Pain? Here’s Help!
One of the most common patterns I see with my clients is a tight, dysfunctional psoas muscle. This deep muscle, connecting your lower back to your legs, often plays a major role in persistent low back pain.
As a specialist in addressing psoas dysfunction through targeted bodywork, I’ve found that relief requires a balance of releasing tightness and addressing weakness.
This stretch, demonstrated by Dr. Rowe, is a fantastic way to complement the hands-on work I do in sessions. It’s gentle yet effective for releasing tension in the psoas. But remember, lasting relief isn’t just about stretching—a weak psoas can cause just as much trouble.
Stay tuned for my follow-up post on how to strengthen this crucial muscle and support your body for long-term relief!
