St. Mary's School Community 101 class visited for a tour of La Clinica’s new Mobile Health Center Monday.

Through a partnership with the Oregon Community Foundation, the class selected La Clinica as a finalist in its student-led grantmaking and volunteerism project.

Students toured the mobile unit and learned about our outreach efforts to bring accessible healthcare directly into the community.

La Clínica ofrece más opciones para que los pacientes reciban atención para problemas digestivos directamente con sus equipos de atención primaria, sin largas esperas para ver a un especialista.

El año pasado, el Dr. Haulk se unió a nuestros residentes de práctica avanzada para ofrecer capacitación y consultas por telemedicina en gastroenterología.

Ahora el servicio se está expandiendo en toda La Clínica, haciendo que sea más fácil y rápido recibir atención.

Nuestras enfermeras parteras certificadas están aquí para acompañar a nuestros pacientes durante todo su camino de embarazo, antes, durante y después del parto.

Tienen licencia del estado para brindar atención a personas de todas las edades, incluyendo planificación familiar, preconcepción, embarazo, parto, cuidado posparto, atención al recién nacido y ginecología.

También realizan exámenes anuales, recetan medicamentos y apoyan durante la menopausia y en temas de salud reproductiva como periodos irregulares y consultas por infertilidad.

Meet the team!
The new La Clinica Mobile Health Center hit the road this week to deliver care to patients most in need across the community.

For the first time since the previous mobile was destroyed by fire just a week after launching in June 2023, our field-based team now has exam rooms, a lab, bathroom, and registration space ready to roll into places where people face the greatest barriers and fears in accessing health care.

El nuevo Centro de Salud Móvil salió a la carretera esta semana para llevar atención médica a los pacientes que más lo necesitan en nuestra comunidad.

Por primera vez desde que la otra unidad móvil fue destruida por un incendio, a solo una semana después de su lanzamiento en junio de 2023, nuestro equipo ahora cuenta con consultorios, laboratorio, baño y espacio de registro listos para llegar a los lugares donde las personas enfrentan mayores barreras y temores para acceder a la atención médica.
