My Story

It begins with an emotional breakdown.

In the fall of 2012, I was at a crossroads in my life and had to make a very big and emotional decision about whether or not to end a relationship I had put my heart and soul into for 11 years. The turmoil I experienced was so immobilizing and severe that I had an emotional breakdown at work, crying convulsively under my desk.

After I calmed down and resurfaced, I made a beeline for the door, got in my car, and started driving... I had no idea where I was going, but I was guided that day.

Where I ended up turned out to be the trail head of my path toward energy medicine. I found myself at the Innersource warehouse in Ashland, Oregon—30 years old—in the lap of a tiny woman with long gray hair. Come to find out, Innersource was the home of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program. The woman I was guided to recommended I see an energy medicine practitioner. At that point, I had no idea what energy medicine even was, but I scheduled an appointment.

The experience was weird. It was filled with terminology I did not understand, random points being held on my body, swirling hands, and lots and lots of tears. But, it helped me in ways I never anticipated:

A few hours after my session, I became very fatigued and slept for 14 hours straight.

In the days that followed, I felt LOVE and JOY deeper and more intensely than I had since... maybe ever (despite that I had just separated from a man I loved from my core for the last 11 years).

The most surprising change, however, was that I had my first 7-day period in three years. I had been enduring reversed menstruation—three weeks of bleeding, one week off. I spent hundreds of dollars on lab work and hormone therapy, over a 3-year period, trying to get it to correct. After one energy medicine session, my menstrual issue CORRECTED! ...yet I went there for an emotional issue... How does that work?!

And with that, I was hooked. My passion for energy healing was ignited and has since been unwavering.
