My Story

It begins with an emotional breakdown.

In the fall of 2012, I was at a crossroads in my life and had to make a very big and emotional decision about whether or not to end a relationship I had put my heart and soul into for 11 years. The turmoil I experienced was so immobilizing and severe that I had an emotional breakdown at work, crying convulsively under my desk.

After I calmed down and resurfaced, I made a beeline for the door, got in my car, and started driving... I had no idea where I was going, but I was guided that day.

Where I ended up turned out to be the trail head of my path toward energy medicine. I found myself at the Innersource warehouse in Ashland, Oregon—30 years old—in the lap of a tiny woman with long gray hair. Come to find out, Innersource was the home of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program. The woman I was guided to recommended I see an energy medicine practitioner. At that point, I had no idea what energy medicine even was, but I scheduled an appointment.
