🩺 Ashland, Eagle Point, Grants Pass, North Medford, and South Medford Urgent Cares are all open 9am to 6pm.

🩺 Central Point Urgent Care, Dermatology, Orthopedics, and Occupational Health will be closed, but open again tomorrow!

Do you know the differences between Urgent Care and the Emergency Room? Urgent Cares (like Valley Immediate Care!) are well equipped to deal with a variety of episodic illness and acute injuries 🦠 We also have on-site lab 🧪 and x-ray 🩻 to diagnose and treat our patients! Our wait times are much sorter (check out Valley Immediate Care's online check in to wait from the comfort of your own home!) and we contract with most major insurances, Medicare, and Medicaid! We also have dedicated dermatology, orthopedics, and workers comp to ensure our community has the care it needs! 👩‍⚕️

Happy 🩻 Here's two different fixes on hip fractures, conveniently side by side for comparison. These were probably done by two different surgeons, and they are both permanent fixes (those screws aren't going anywhere). Hip fractures are very common as people get older, like in the case of this patient, and are often caused by osteoporosis. The femoral neck (green arrow) becomes fragile and breaks. You can see here how fragile that bone is, it's almost invisible on the x-ray!
