It is with heavy hearts that we share this news. We are deeply saddened and realize that you will be also.

We want you to know that Dr Paden LOVED being your Ophthalmologist, he cared deeply about not only your eyes, but your whole being.

Whenever we spoke, post retirement, he mentioned how much he missed the people. Us (his staff) and all of you. Indeed we had something special at Paden Eye Care and we will be forever grateful.

Dr Paden was a tremendous asset to this community and will be greatly missed.

Dear Paden Eye Care patients.

It is with mixed emotions I am retiring from Paden Eye Care Center. Mostly I am excited of course, and super proud to have been here beginning to end. But also it’s a little scary. I know I will miss this, and so many of you. I so appreciate all the advice you have given us, Dr Paden and myself, over these last few months, but what you may not know is that you have been my advisors all along. Watching you over all these years has taught me so much about this next chapter I am entering. I will make the most of the lessons you have taught me, just being you. I have so enjoyed being part of your health care over the years. So many of you are like friends or even family to me, I will no doubt think of you often and know that I am wishing you well wherever my adventures take me.

You may have heard some rumors, it’s true. We were just waiting to iron out all the details before we let you know. Dr Paden will be retiring at the end of August after a prestigious 35 years in ophthalmology here in Southern Oregon .

It has been an absolute pleasure taking care of you over the past 20 years at Paden Eye Care and at Medical Eye Center in the years preceding that.

Thank you for being the best patients a doctor and his staff could ask for. We do have some available appointments for our existing patients before we go.

We wish each and every one of you well and are confident that you will continue to receive excellent care from our friends at Medical Eye Center.
