The Surgery Center of Southern Oregon provides a high quality alternative to in-patient hospitalization. Our facility offers multi-specialty outpatient surgery and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to patients of all ages. The Surgery Center has a Medical Staff of more than 60 of the area's most respected surgeons in various specialties. Your will have a Pre-op appointment with your surgeon to evaluate your health and discuss the procedure and treatment. Your surgeon will also visit you the day of surgery to identify any changes since your Pre-op visit and answer any questions you may have.

• Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
• Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

Clinical Director/OR Manager

We are looking for a strong candidate who will provide extensive clinical and administrative leadership for the surgery Center. This position is responsible for managing the Surgical Services department, and for oversight of Nursing Services. This candidate must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the staff, managers and physicians.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinates and ensures the delivery of quality patient care and safety in the operating rooms and oversees the management of all Nursing Services according to SCSO policies and procedures, local, state and federal regulations, accreditation standards and professionally recognized standards of care.
• Functions as a resource to clinical managers, and liaison to patients and physicians
• Applies risk management strategies throughout the organization in collaboration with the Executive Director, Medical Director and Quality Manager
• Participates in the Infection Control, Quality and Safety Councils
• Acquires knowledge of recognized standards of best practice: AORN, ASPAN, SGNA
• Ability to abstract and analyze data
• Possesses sound judgement and critical thinking skills
Education, Training and Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing-BSN preferred
• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS (ACLS may be obtained within the first 90 days of employment)
