💛 Beyond the Label Foundation is raising funds to build a sensory-safe space for neurodiverse children and families in our community.

Donations will help provide:
• Sensory gym equipment & calming spaces
• Social skills & life skills groups for children, teens and young adults who need support
• Access to services for families who otherwise couldn’t afford it

Every contribution helps us create a safe, supportive place for neurodiverse kids to grow and thrive.

Hi families 💛

I’m exploring the possibility of starting Social & Life Skills Groups for Young Adults (18–25) in the North Natomas / Sacramento area, and I wanted to see if there is a need in our community.

These groups would be for young adults with:
• Autism / neurodivergence
• ADHD
• Down syndrome
• Social anxiety
• Difficulty making or maintaining friendships
• Challenges with communication, independence, or life skills

Potential group focuses may include:
• Building friendships & social confidence
• Communication & conversation skills
• Emotional regulation
• Boundaries & safety
• Real-life social practice
• Life skills & independence support

Groups may be organized by communication and support level (for example, partially verbal vs conversational) to ensure the best fit for each participant.

If this is something your young adult might benefit from, please comment or message me:
• Age
• Communication level (partially verbal / conversational)
• What you would hope they gain from a group

*It would be private pay (no insurance, but I can provide receipts to help get insurance reimbursement)
*FSA/HSA cards accepted
*Pending Alta regional approval/ vendor
This is just an interest check to help determine community need and group structure.

Thank you 💛
