Lights, Camera, Connection!

We were thrilled to welcome the Ashland Independent Film Festival to our community for a special screening experience right here at home! Residents enjoyed two heartfelt short films celebrating local stories, followed by an inspiring Q&A with the filmmaker, Autie Carlisle.

Thank you to the Ashland Film Festival team for bringing a taste of this celebrated Southern Oregon tradition to us!

This week marks one year since we opened the doors of The Springs at The Waterfront in Vancouver, Washington.

In just 12 months, this beautiful community has become so much more than a building, it’s a place where residents and team members create connections, share joy, and celebrate life every day.

We’re grateful for the trust families have placed in us, the dedication of our team, and the vibrant spirit residents bring to this community.

A big congratulations to two outstanding leaders at The Springs Living!

🌟Anjie Lambert, life enrichment director at The Springs at Carman Oaks, received the Enrichment of Life Award from Oregon Health Care Association for her nearly two decades of creating joyful, meaningful experiences for residents.

🌟 Ole Lindbo, regional director of operations, was honored by OHCA with a Special Service Award for his leadership and advocacy in support of senior living during a challenging legislative session.

This marks the third consecutive year that someone from The Springs Living has earned the Enrichment of Life Award—a true reflection of the compassion and dedication of service-driven individuals across the organization who continually provide impactful and engaging experiences for residents.

What a perfect day to celebrate the end of summer! Residents and their families gathered in our beautiful courtyard to soak up the sunshine and enjoy a memorable afternoon. Chef Shawn and his incredible culinary team delighted everyone with a delicious selection of hors d'oeuvres, while Suncrest Winery provided wine pairings. The Danielle Kelly Trio set the tone with their incredible live performance - creating the perfect soundtrack for our Summer Send Off Event!

🦆 Cotton candy, live music… and a duck who can dance? Sign us up.

The Springs at Greer Gardens’ Farmers Market was already packed with fresh produce, handmade goods, and live music, but then Puddles, the University of Oregon’s beloved mascot, dropped by to take things to a whole new level! From dancing with residents and sampling cotton candy to busting a move to the band, Puddles brought pure joy and laughter to an already beautiful day.

Events like these are what community is all about: connection, laughter, and maybe even a duck who knows how to work the dance floor.
