Connection was the theme of the day at our Annual Alumni Picnic!

Seeing alumni, families, and friends come together reminded us that recovery is not walked alone — it’s built on relationships, support, and finding joy. 💙 This year’s celebration was extra special as we also marked our 40th anniversary — four decades of hope, healing and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring the power of connection and this incredible milestone!

Last week, Mirmont Treatment Center was represented at the 1st Responder Conferences in Atlantic City! 💙

These events shine an important light on the mental, emotional and physical well-being of first responders, helping break the stigma around seeking support.

Through our VIPER (Valor with Integrity Program for Emergency Responders) program, we provide first responders struggling with trauma and addiction the care and tools they need to heal and build resilience. We’re proud to stand alongside organizations like 1st Responder Conferences in prioritizing the health and well-being of our heroes.

Events like this remind us how powerful collaboration can be. When law enforcement and treatment professionals work together, we help make education, prevention and recovery more accessible — and lives are changed for the better.

To everyone who stopped by, asked questions and showed their support: thank you.

"I spent years helping others until I realized I needed help. 365 days ago, I sat in a chair feeling terrified, defeated and lost. Past childhood trauma, loss and 22 years as an EMS led to my diagnosis of PTSD, depression and anxiety. It was painful to admit I needed help. But I made a promise to give the VIPER program everything I had. And I did.

To every first responder: It’s okay to not be okay. You’re not alone. There is help."

– Kim E., Mirmont Treatment Center VIPER Alum

This , we honor the courage it takes to save others — and the strength it takes to ask for help. Heather’s story is a reminder: You are not alone. There is help.
