During Patient Safety Awareness Week, we’re highlighting what safety looks like inside a clinical research site.

At Suburban Research Associates, patient safety is part of every study visit and every protocol we conduct.

It includes:

• Thorough informed consent discussions
• Investigator-led medical oversight
• Ongoing safety monitoring and adverse event reporting
• IRB review and regulatory compliance
• Detailed documentation and quality checks

Clinical research advances medicine — but it only works when participants feel informed, supported, and protected.

Patient safety isn’t just a requirement. It’s a daily responsibility.

In recognition of Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day during National Nutrition Month, SRA is highlighting the important role nutrition professionals play in clinical research.

Our colleagues at Rochester Clinical Research recently featured Catherine Baker, Registered Dietitian & Study Coordinator, who discusses how nutrition expertise supports patient care and study coordination in clinical research.

Her perspective highlights how interdisciplinary roles — including nutrition — contribute to the success of research studies and support participants throughout the research process.

It’s Patient Safety Awareness Week.

Safety is the foundation of every research study we conduct.

Before anyone joins a study, they review a detailed consent form, have the opportunity to ask questions, and meet with our medical team. Throughout the study, participants are closely monitored, and safety is reviewed regularly.

Clinical research only works when participants feel informed, supported, and protected.

Have questions about how research studies keep participants safe? Drop them below or send us a message.

Women’s History Month: Recognizing Women in Clinical Research

This Women’s History Month, we recognize the vital role women play in advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes. From principal investigators and clinical research coordinators to regulatory leaders and executives, women drive innovation, uphold ethical standards, and lead complex trials that bring new therapies to patients. At Suburban Research Associates, we know that clinical research is built on collaboration, precision, and purpose — and women across our industry continue to shape its future every day.

Thank you to the women advancing science, strengthening research operations, and making a lasting impact in healthcare.

This week is National Eating Disorders Awareness Week.

Eating disorders can affect people of any age, gender, background, or body type. They are complex medical and mental health conditions — not a choice, not a phase, and not something you can “see” just by looking at someone.

Awareness starts with understanding. Support starts with compassion.

If you or someone you love is struggling, know that help is available and recovery is possible. No one should face it alone.

At Suburban Research, advancing heart health goes beyond studies — it starts with education and action.

72% of adult cardiac arrests outside the hospital happen at home. That means the person who saves a life is often a family member.

Hands-Only CPR is simple:
Call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest until help arrives.

This , we encourage everyone to learn the signs and be prepared. Awareness and action save lives.

You can be a hero for someone you love. Saving a life with Hands-Only CPR doesn’t take medical training. It takes courage. And it takes knowledge.

Remember, if you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest until help can arrive.
