Happy veterinary receptionist week, Randi!

Randi keeps everything at our front desk running smoothly as our lead receptionist, bringing organization, warmth, and a calm, steady presence every day. She manages scheduling, supports our team behind the scenes, and helps ensure every client and patient has a seamless experience from start to finish.

Outside the hospital, she’s incredibly creative, designing and sewing cat toys that have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Cat Fancy, and CatsUSA. She’ll even be at the Media Arts Festival this Sunday from 11am–4pm!

At home, she’s kept busy by her cat crew—Bowie, Holiday, Spider, and Harper—and at work, she’s known for her amazing spreadsheets and signature colorful scrubs. She also has a strong background in design, with a certificate in Pet Product Marketing and Design from FIT in NYC, which shows in her attention to detail and organization.

We’re so lucky to have Randi leading our team here at The Cat Hospital of Media.

For the past three years, Dayna has been an incredible part of our team, bringing warmth, organization, and a welcoming presence to every client and patient who walks through our doors. She is often the first friendly face our clients see and the calm, reassuring voice on the phone, helping make every visit a little easier. Her attention to detail and ability to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes never go unnoticed by our team.

When she’s not at the front desk, you’ll find her cooking up something amazing, planning her next shopping find, volunteering her time to help others, enjoying a good movie, or off exploring somewhere new. She brings that same energy, creativity, and kindness into the hospital each day, and it truly makes a difference.

Dayna, your positivity, dedication, and genuine care for both people and their cats help make our hospital feel like home. We are so grateful for everything you do and the heart you bring to our team every single day. We’re so lucky to have you, thank you for being you!

Today we’re celebrating Angela, who has been part of The Cat Hospital of Media family for an incredible 17 years.

With nearly two decades of experience, Angela is the heart of our front desk. Clients consistently share how much they appreciate her empathetic, patient, and genuinely helpful nature. She has a way of making everyone feel heard and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

Outside of work, Angela is an avid lover of music, reading, and shopping. She is also a die-hard Eagles fan who loves spending time outdoors.

They are the first voice you hear when you’re worried, the ones who help guide you when you’re not sure what to do, and the calm presence during moments that can feel overwhelming. They juggle so much behind the scenes, yet always lead with patience, kindness, and compassion.

What many don’t see is how much they truly care, not just about keeping things running, but about every client and every cat that walks through our doors.
