The Social Enrichment Center The Social Enrichment Center was founded to support individuals, families, schools and community organizations.

Our objective is to build children’s and adolescent’s self-confidence and social connectedness. SEC provides direct care to young people, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic and instructional strategies. Further, our team equips caregivers with developmentally appropriate skills and strategies to build children and adolescents’ social competencies.

📢‼️ Our friends at NAMI Main Line PA are at it again!

The NAMI Family-to-Family education program is a series of 8 weekly classes, one evening per week, structured to help family members understand and support a relative diagnosed with a serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. Families of persons diagnosed with a serious mental illness have the opportunity, in a safe space, to learn about the major mental illnesses, discuss the clinical treatment of these illnesses, and learn how to access care. The course also teaches the knowledge and communication skills family members need to meet challenges around their loved one with more effectiveness and resiliency.

The Spring 2025 course will meet in person Wednesday nights (7-9:30pm) beginning in late April at Lankenau Hospital on Lancaster Avenue in Penn Wynne.

This program offered at no charge.

They are offering a virtual “NAMI Basics” 6-week education program for parents, caregivers, and other family members with children or adolescents who are experiencing mental health issues.

This online course is free of charge and will run January 15 - February 19, 2025 (Wednesday nights) from 6-8:30pm.
