🎄Our 2nd annual outdoor Christmas Market is right around the corner on Saturday, December 13 from 11am-5pm and we can’t wait to see you! The market will be located at 111 N. Lefevre St. (Cela’s parking lot) in Medical Lake.

Our vendors are working hard to get ready for you and want you to know they appreciate you choosing to support their small businesses this Christmas shopping season. We’re going to start introducing you to our vendors leading up to the market so you can start making your shopping lists.

Today we are highlighting Lisa of Alacrity Glass. Lisa makes handmade fused glass items, Christmas ornaments, small stockings stuffers, cookie plates, and more! Be sure to find her on FB and IG to see more pictures of her work!

Our market is part of the annual Re*Imagine Medical Lake Winter Festival, which runs from 12pm-5pm. Come enjoy some fun and *FREE small-town Christmas fun, like FREE photos with Santa, a live reindeer exhibit, FREE pony rides, decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus, making a toy with Santa, Christmas parade, tree lighting, and much more! (*while supplies last).

Teamwork makes the dream work!! Last Saturday we had a great group of volunteers who helped put together the Elf Village. We had an additional new house that was added to our collection. It was built by Nate Robinson and his family. Last year Mike and Angela Gerry with their elves built the firehouse. The revised structure ( AgWest Farm Credit was generous to provide us support with two structures to start us off and Leadership Spokane assisted with replacement of many Christmas decorations) the Grinch House was embellished and decorated by two families the Kadeem and Janae Smalls with Julie Shrum. Nolan Davis was the first person who voluntarily contributed to build an elf house after the fire. Many people still have asked about the original village.
We had really enjoyed it. Working on it over the years to create the components. Getting it right. We are now going to create the new version. We know how much this little village has become a central element of the community and the holidays.
We are extremely grateful for each person’s support, contributions, encouragement, and volunteerism that we have received to provide the village to our community mid November through the middle of January.
We hope that you will plan to share time with your friends Winter Festival 2025 please mark your calendars and share this information.

Lights up Medical Lake!! The weather is beautiful to get your lights on your house now. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to turn them on. But, December 12th will be the day that we will be doing our judging.
Let’s shine brighter this holiday season. 🎅🧑‍🎄

The Spokane Parks Foundation wants to ensure that you and your loved ones can participate in our area’s fantastic holiday events.

Don’t miss your opportunity for free holiday photos and treats at Minnehaha Park, Saturday, November 22, from 12-3 pm.

Liberty Lake’s holiday celebration begins with the “Light Up Liberty Lake" Christmas tree lighting ceremony. It is set for Saturday, November 29, at 5 p.m. at the northwest corner of the Trailhead Golf Course parking lot.

Riverfront Park’s festivities begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, at the plaza adjacent to the Numerica Skate Ribbon. Enjoy live entertainment and food trucks. The countdown to light the community tree is at 6 p.m.

You can welcome in the holidays at the Corbin Park Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, Nov 30, from 3:30-4:30. This fun event is sponsored by Spokane City Credit Union (SCCU).

Mark Peterson Kxly, Extreme Team KXLY, and 4 News Now will turn on the Christmas lights in Cowley Park, with support from Winter Glow Spectacular, below the Spokane Providence Children’s Hospital, on December 4. The lights remain on through January 1, 2026.

Spokane Valley will light up with the holiday spirit on Friday, December 5, at Balfour Park. Participate in tree lighting, visit Santa and his reindeer, join in the walking light parade, and enjoy a variety of other activities. This link features more information: www.SpokaneValleyWA.gov/holidays

Airway Heights WinterFest kicks off the Holiday season with an annual tree lighting, community bonfire & spectacular fireworks show at Sunset Park. Enjoy music, hot cocoa, tractor rides with Rusty Truck, and more on December 5 at 6 p.m. at Sunset Park.

Holiday Hoopla will take place at the Cheney Library on Friday, December 5, from 4 - 8 p.m. Families will be able to enjoy holiday kids' crafts and stories in the library, along with a tree lighting and the Festival of Trees at various businesses downtown. The tree lighting ceremony, accompanied by fireworks, is scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The City of Medical Lake's 2025 holiday tree lighting will take place during the Winter Festival on Saturday, December 13. The ceremony is set for 5 p.m. at Coney Island Park.
