Mark your calendars! Tuesday August 26 th at * approximately 1 PM the motorcade escorting the “Wall That Heals,” will be coming down Lefevre Street on its way to Spokane.
Will you please join me and bring your 🇺🇸 flags? Also, invite your friends and young people it’s a great opportunity to help them understand a little bit about why we do this. See you NEXT week!

There’s a farmers market on Saturday and it’s First Responder Appreciation Day! We hope you’ll come and shop and enjoy your community!

We have another great vendor line up for you Saturday, and, it’s First Responder Appreciation Day!

We are so grateful for the hard work and dedication of our first responders and many of our vendors will be offering special promotions. If you are a first responder, be sure to let us know.

Members of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office SWAT will be with us, and there will be an armored vehicle, too!

Also, it's CORN DAY! The Hutterites will be bringing their famous corn!

What a beautiful day for Medical Lake Farmers Market. We had a great event, “Rooted.” The first annual Chefs Cooking Competition. We are sharing just a few pictures from today.

What an amazing line up of guest judges! We couldn’t be happier. Do you have August 2 nd on your calendar?! Be sure to tell your friends and neighbors. This is the first time Medical Lake Farmers Market is hosting this event.

We are so excited to introduce you to our judges for Rooted!

Terri Cooper, Mayor of Medical Lake, Kristi Gorenson, host of Washington Grown , Randy Johnson, owner of Johnson Homestead Medical Lake, Kylie Stein, Loan Specialist AgWest Farm Credit , and Danica Wick, owner of The West Plains Stream.

While “Rooted” is from 12pm-3pm, we have a fun day planned and invite you to spend the day with us! Starting at 9am, shop the Medical Lake Farmers Market (open from 9am-3pm) and from 10am-12pm, we have our “Kids Kitchen” hosted by Cela's Creative Learning Academy, where kids will do a blind taste test with produce and learn how to make bruschetta, then from 12pm-3pm, is Rooted.

Four local chefs will bring their inspired submissions using ingredients sourced from the Medical Lake Farmers Market farmers and food producers in sample format for the judges and audience to enjoy, while supplies last. The judges and the people will decide who wins.

At the Medical Lake Farmers Market, we are passionate about connecting our community with the incredible local farmers and food producers we proudly represent.
