🎃 We’ve had such a fun (and busy!) time wrapping up our Halloween festivities!
A huge thank-you to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital for always welcoming our kiddos to come show off their costumes and trick-or-treat with the residents , it’s one of our favorite traditions! 💕

We’re also so grateful to Judd Dohrmann for always making sure we get there and back safely, and to the Lincoln Library for including us in your wonderful Halloween activities each year. Our kiddos look forward to dressing up and visiting the Main Street businesses for trick-or-treating every Halloween! 👻🍬

Medicine Lodge Daycare, Inc. is excited to announce a $2,000 grant from the South Central Community Foundation to purchase a new AED for our childcare facility.
Through our project, “Protecting Little Hearts,” this lifesaving device will support the safety and wellbeing of Medicine Lodge’s youth. We’re grateful to SCCF for recognizing MLDC and investing in our community’s children. ❤️

MLDC Wants to Chat with You!

Summer is right around the corner! Do you have a child who will need childcare but are unsure of the cost? Did you know that you could get assistance to help cover your childcare expenses?

Are You a Stay-at-Home Mom?
If you don’t need consistent daycare—maybe just a drop-in a few times a month or even one day a month—we understand, and we can work with that!

Need a Drop-in But Unfamiliar with Providers? We get it! It can be tough to leave your child with someone you don’t know. That’s why we invite you to come in and meet all of our wonderful providers. This opportunity is also available for our current families who may need to chat about potential drop-ins when their regular provider is unavailable.
The great part about us all being in one building is that when one provider is unavailable, families can utilize other providers for drop-in days.

We’re Opening Our Doors on April 27th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM! Come meet with us, ask any questions, and learn how you can apply for childcare assistance.

We suggested it, and to our surprise, the State of Kansas is coming to visit! 🎉

Medicine Lodge Daycare, INC is excited to be recognized as part of National Community Development Week 2025!

Join us on April 22nd from 12:00-12:30 PM as we celebrate the lasting impact of community development efforts. The Lt. Governor’s office will be here to join in the celebration! This week, running from April 21-25, highlights the work being done across Kansas to strengthen and empower our communities.
