Maura Dawn Kimble

Maura Dawn Kimble, 63, returned to our Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2026. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Rebecca Lynn Jackson (Rob) and Rachel Ann Kimble, who were her greatest pride and joy. Maura is also survived by her dear sister, Debra Lynn Dennis, and her stepbrothers, Timothy Brian Stevens (Marlene) and Michael Scott Stevens (Debbie), who will miss her greatly.

Maura leaves behind a legacy of patience, strength, and gentle kindness in the many lives she touched, including her family, friends, and students. She was an intelligent and vibrant woman who found beauty in all God's creations and inspired positivity in those around her through her faith, creative nature, and her desire to nurture and enrich the lives of others, in addition to her love of flowers, animals, and books.

Maura was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Neil Dennis and Shirley Ann (née Beasley) Stevens, as well as her stepfather, Billy Fletcher Stevens.

In lieu of a physical service, a digital memorial in her honor will be made available at a later date, featuring charities to help others in need. In the meantime, her family invites all who knew her to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman by carrying forward her spirit of kindness and compassion.
