WATCH this cool video. Yesterday during our annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast and equine assisted learning and wellness event, we hosted 47 veterans and friends.

During the event a large group of them participated in this connection, trust, harmony activity. They all needed to stay connected along with a horse they chose out in the pasture, and walk in harmony together. It was a beautiful experience to witness.

Giving thanks for our volunteers at last nights annual volunteer appreciation dinner.

Last night about 45 of our volunteers and their family members joined together to celebrate THEM! This isn’t our entire volunteer team, but we are grateful for those that were able to attend.

They are at the heart and center of our mission. We cannot deliver our vital services to the veterans and horses we serve without their commitment and dedication, rain or shine, 365 days a year!

We enjoyed a Mexican themed buffet dinner, beverages and desserts. Thank you Barn Buddies!


This morning we are celebrating our veteran friends at our annual Veterans Day breakfast. We have been extremely hard at work this year serving our community and we are thankful for your continued support!

Today we welcomed a new group of veterans from the Medina County Veteran’s Services.

Their goal was to spend time organically with the horses and “be present” and they reported at the end of the session they accomplished that.

We look forward to seeing them back again soon.

Another beautiful day during today’s “Herd to Heard” - horses & veterans healing one another. Today’s focus topic was “Giving & Receiving” and the theme was carried out throughout the day for both humans and horses alike!

Volunteers to the rescue!

We are nothing without our dedicated volunteers who keep the horses, animals and the grounds well cared for!

This morning a group of us were in charge of trimming Princess to help her manage her body temperature (sweats due to an Endocrine disorder).

Earlier this week we said farewell (for now) to one of our morning volunteers as they pursue a new job out of town.

Can you help us out and volunteer a few hours each week or each month? We need morning volunteers most days, and our shifts are 2.5-3 hrs in duration. Skip the gym and do your workout with us!
