There’s something truly special about the light a volunteer brings into a room! 💛

Our Turas Hospice volunteer, Pat, spent time visiting with one of our patients — sharing conversation, laughter, and meaningful presence. It’s amazing how something as simple as sitting together can brighten an entire day.

At Turas Hospice and Palliative Care, our volunteer team is known as our Solas Team. Solas means light — and that is exactly what they bring. Light in the form of companionship. Light in the form of listening ears and gentle smiles. Light in moments of connection that remind our patients they are seen, valued, and never alone.

🍭🌈 Followed the rainbow path to the Candyland Open House at Broadway Creek Senior Living in Medina!

We had the pleasure of attending the Open House at Broadway Creek, where guests were invited to explore an enchanted Candyland filled with sweets, treats, and a nostalgic raffle at the Candy Castle. It was such a fun and creative event!

We were proud to represent Turas Hospice and Palliative Care, connect with the wonderful staff at Broadway Creek, and build some great new relationships. We are truly looking forward to working together to support the residents and families in our community. 💜

Our hearts are still so full from Saturday ❤️

Our “From Our Hearts to Theirs” Valentine’s Card-Making Event was such a beautiful success! We had an incredible turnout at the Medina County District Library, and together we created so many heartfelt cards for local senior communities. The room was filled with laughter, creativity, coffee, cookies, and so much kindness.
