🧐 Curious what to expect during your first visit to our office? Here’s what you can expect at Mellion Orthodontics:
Upon arrival, you’ll meet one of treatment coordinators (pictured!) who will review your dental and medical history and discuss your treatment goals. Together you’ll take a series of photographs of your teeth, take X-rays and complete a digital scan of your mouth (we are an impression-free office!).
👨⚕️ Next, you will meet with one of our board-certified orthodontists - Dr. Zach, Dr. Alex, or Dr. Joe Mellion! This family has been making smiles since 1980 and in addition to having lots of experience, each completed an orthodontic residency program after dental school. Dr. Zach and Dr. Alex have taught at Case Western Reserve University, sharing the latest advancements and technology with the next class of orthodontists! After a review of your records, an exam of your mouth will be completed by using a small mirror to see all of your teeth and evaluate how your bite fits together. From there, the doctors will explain the prescribed treatment options available to you based on their findings.
Throughout the appointment our team will answer any questions you have and ensure you are confident and comfortable in the prescribed treatment method outlined by our orthodontists!
