At the new patient exam, the patient presented with:⁠
🌀Narrow upper arch⁠
🌀 Overbite⁠
🌀 Crowding⁠
⁠
The main concerns the patient and their family discussed were crowding and alignment issues. ⁠
⁠
The treatment plan for this patient included removing remaining primary teeth along with one adult tooth. Combined with a palate expander and allowing other adult teeth to move forward into the space of the extracted adult tooth, this allowed Dr. Zach and Dr. Alex to reduce the crowding and protect the gums and rest of the teeth long term. ⁠

After the palate expander was placed, the patient achieved ideal expansion in just a few months. The palate expander remained in the patient’s mouth so that the patient did not experience relapse while Invisalign® aligners were created based on Dr. Zach and Dr. Alex’s prescription for the patient.⁠
Once the patient started their Invisalign® aligners, to keep treatment on track, we utilized our DentalMonitoring app to monitor treatment from home and identify any areas of concern and the ideal time to see the patient in the office. With elastic wear and consistent aligner changes and DM scanning the patient completed his orthodontic treatment in our office!⁠

🌻 If you want your child to begin their orthodontic treatment this summer, we highly recommend scheduling now.

it might seem more convenient for you in the summer.
But hear us out...

⏰ The initial consultation is
ONLY ONE HOUR.

📆 Depending on how far out you schedule, you may be able to choose from a morning, afternoon, or mid day appointment.

🌷 April and May are great times for the first visit because there is more flexibility in the schedule
AND.....

🍀 if your child is ready to start with Invisalign® we need a four week lead time to create the aligners based on Dr. Zach and Dr. Alex’s prescription.

👨‍⚕️ Which means a visit in April results in your child actually starting their Invisalign® in May. And a May consult gets their first sets of aligners
in June.

😃 Prefer braces?
That’s fine - treatment outcomes with Invisalign® and braces are the same in our practice.
