Don’t forget to spring forward this weekend and move your clocks ahead one hour. ⏰

This time change can throw off sleep patterns, energy levels, and even muscle tension for a few days while your body adjusts.

Around here, spring in Medora likes to keep us humble anyway. One day it’s 20°, the next it’s 65°. Our bodies are adjusting right along with the weather.

If you’ve been feeling a little stiff, tired, or out of rhythm lately, it might be a good time for a quick body check in.

Sometimes a small adjustment is all it takes to get you feeling a little more “spring” in your step.

Are you someone who loves the longer evenings or do you miss that extra hour of sleep?

Neck tension this time of year is real.

As the days get longer, people start moving more again. More driving, more time outside, spring projects starting up, and sometimes a little extra screen time too.

All of that can add up to tight shoulders and a stiff neck.

Sometimes it only takes a small adjustment to help things start moving the way they should again.

Small adjustments can make a big difference.

Where do you tend to hold your tension most? Neck, shoulders, or low back?

It’s March already. Quick check in. Are you being consistent with your supplements?

Whether it’s fish oil for heart support, vitamin D, magnesium, or something specific to your needs, consistency matters more than perfection.

Small habits add up.

If you’re unsure what’s right for you, I’m always happy to help guide you.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is that people wait until they’re in significant pain to get checked.

Often, pain is the last symptom to show up.

Stiffness. Tension. Limited movement. Fatigue. These can all be early signals.

Proactive care helps keep your body moving well before things become bigger issues.

Taking care of your spine shouldn’t only happen when it hurts.

If something feels off, even a little, don’t ignore it.

Let’s take a look before it turns into something bigger.

❤️ Heart Health + Chiropractic

Your nervous system and your heart are connected.

Your spine protects the nervous system, which helps coordinate communication throughout your body, including how your body responds to stress.

When the spine moves well and the nervous system functions efficiently, your body is better able to adapt and regulate.

Chiropractic care isn’t about “treating” the heart. It’s about supporting overall function so your body can do what it was designed to do.

Heart health is movement. Stress management. Sleep. Nutrition. And supporting your nervous system along the way.

If you have questions about how chiropractic fits into your overall wellness plan, I’m always happy to talk.

There’s something about sunshine in the Badlands, even on a crisp, cool day.

Some of my favorite memories are the simple ones. Bundled up. Kids laughing. Cold air and golden light on the hills.

Even in winter, getting outside matters. Bundle up. Step outside. Let the sun hit your face.

Blessed to live in this beautiful place. 💙

February is Heart Health Month. ❤️

One of the most common supplements people ask about is fish oil. In the office, we carry both Omega 3 and EPA/DHA options.

These are commonly used to support heart health and complement a balanced lifestyle.

If you have questions about whether supplementation makes sense for you, we’re always happy to talk through options.

Winter gave us a little tease of spring and now it’s back reminding us who’s boss. ❄️

With colder temps and icy sidewalks this week, here are a few simple reminders:

• Wear supportive boots
• Take small, steady steps on ice
• Keep your hands free when walking

And if you do slip or tweak something and it just doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it.

Small misalignments can turn into bigger issues if we wait too long.

If something feels off, let’s address it early.

Stay safe and warm out there. 💙

If your knees or ankles are feeling stiff, especially during these colder months, dry needling may be one technique we use as part of your care plan.

It’s designed to address areas of muscle tension and support healthy movement.

If you’re curious whether it’s a good fit for you, let’s talk. We’ll create a plan that makes sense for your body.

The six best doctors: sunshine, water, rest, air, exercise, and diet.

I love this reminder.

Yes, I talk about supplements when needed. Yes, I recommend immune support this time of year.

But the foundation is always the basics.

Sunshine.
Movement.
Hydration.
Rest.
Nourishing your body well.

With this little tease of spring weather, get outside. Go for a walk. Soak up some fresh air. Let your nervous system reset a bit.

On this Valentine’s weekend, this is your reminder that loving yourself does not have to be complicated.

Sometimes it simply means taking care of the body you were gifted with.

Get out and enjoy this beautiful day. Your spine, your immune system, and your mind will thank you.

It’s that time of year again… cold and flu season.

At our house, we focus on a few simple basics to support our immune systems: Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, and Zinc. These are also some of the most common supplements I recommend to patients this time of year.

Of course, everyone’s body is different. What works well for one person may need to be adjusted for another. That’s why I love having Faith in the office. She can help you put together a supplement plan that fits your specific needs.

If you’ve been feeling run down or just want to be proactive, stop by the office and we’ll help you get started.

Stay well, friends 🤍
