There’s one spot left in this summer’s mentorship!

This is for the teacher who knows there’s more in them… who wants to feel clearer, stronger, and more intentional when they step into the room.

We’ll spend the summer refining your voice, building your confidence, and actually practicing the skills that make a class feel different not just sequencing, but presence, pacing, and connection.

Early pricing closes Friday!

Message me or email info@driftandoak.com to talk it through ❤

you neeeed to see inside our neighbor’s studio 🪩

it’s stress awareness month… which felt like the perfect time to remind you about our neighbors at the glow factory. they have a similar vibe, just a different kind of reset ✨

you’re lying in savasana, completely surrendered.
you’re lying getting your makeup done, completely surrendered.

looking up at the same ceiling. someone else is taking care of you + you leave feeling like a different person 🤍

and then you wake up the next day with your new permanent makeup and there’s just… one less thing to think about. which, when life already feels full, actually matters.

so here’s what they’re doing for our people (it’s actually pretty amazing)…

$75 off permanent brows, lips, or eyeliner (first sessions + colorboosts, with any artist) 💫

book by april 13th for any date through may + use code DRIFT.

if you’ve been on the fence, this is a pretty good time to get off it 😉

You know that feeling after teacher training ends…

when you go from constant learning + feedback
to mostly being on your own?

Still teaching… but not always growing in the same way.

Or maybe you never really started teaching…
and now you’re not quite sure where to begin again.

I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately sooo I’m offering a small group mentorship program this summer! ☀️

This is for teachers who want to stay connected, keep learning and evolve their teaching in a more intentional way.

We’ll focus on applied anatomy, assisting, sequencing with lots of opportunity for practice teaching + feedback. (from me + from each other)

Group will be small and we already have spots filled!

If this feels aligned, send me a DM or email me for more details 🫶🏼

In yoga we talk all the time about growth in our bodies and in our lives. Lately I’ve been thinking about how our teaching should be allowed to grow too.

But if I’m being honest, shifting things even a little can feel a bit scary. Because I know people love the way I teach. And that means a lot to me.

I am trying to remind myself that growth asks us to stay curious.

+ lately I’ve been giving myself permission to explore my teaching a little differently. You may start to notice small shifts in how my classes are structured, letting certain skills build over time instead of every class being completely separate from the last.

What’s the same is the heart of it. The atmosphere. The music. The community. + classes will still have tons of variety, the flows will remain creative.

What’s different is simply that we might revisit things, refine them, and give the body time to really learn over an extended period of time.

And honestly… I think it’s going to make your practice even stronger. ✨

Unpopular opinion😬
Defaulting to “take Child’s Pose anytime” is a cop out.

Of course students have full autonomy in their practice. They can take whatever pose they want whenever they want. That freedom is part of yoga.

But when Child’s Pose becomes the main “modification,” it can sometimes replace actually teaching the pose. And that matters…

Because sending students out of the sequence instead of giving them options can keep them from fully experiencing the practice.

To me, inclusive teaching means taking responsibility for the room in front of you. It means offering progressions, regressions, and different pathways so more bodies can stay engaged in the practice rather than sitting on the sidelines.

Child’s Pose absolutely has its place. Sometimes it’s exactly what someone needs. But when it becomes the default answer instead of thoughtful modifications, something gets lost in the student experience.

Students deserve more than an exit.
They deserve a teacher who is willing to show them another way in.
