Today, the Tapestry Memory Care community welcomed some very special visitors! Christine stopped by to introduce her newest addition to our pet therapy program. Jasmine—lovingly called Jazz—is a beautiful Maine C**n kitty, and she quickly stole everyone’s hearts. Our residents loved spending time cuddling with this sweet girl.

The Tapestry Memory Care community has had a wonderful week so far! We continued crafting festive Christmas ornaments, decorating adorable wooden mittens for our holiday trees. We even took a cozy break to cuddle up with some furry and feathered friends. It’s been a week filled with creativity, warmth, and smiles

Our Independent Living resident of the Willows -Carl, an exceptional musician and devoted teacher, invited his longtime students for a beautiful live concert. He has mentored them since they were young, and now, as they prepare to head off to college, they returned to share one final performance with the teacher who shaped their musical journey. We love seeing our community filled with moments that honor legacy, mentorship, and the joy of sharing your gifts.

Our Tapestry Memory Care residents recently reached out to Disney through their Community Outreach Program. After celebrating Mickey Mouse’s birthday, our residents decided to create heartfelt, homemade cards for the Disney staff. We were thrilled to receive a beautiful letter and postcards in return as a special thank-you. Moments like this remind us that kindness truly matters.

At the Tapestry Memory Care community, we’ve begun transforming our spaces for Christmas. Beautiful trees are going up throughout the community, and you can already feel the joy and excitement of the season in the air. All our Hanukkah decorations will also be going up 🌲 🧑‍🎄

Community Friendsgiving Celebration ✨
Our Community Friendsgiving Social for the Willows & Whitney Place residents was filled with everything that makes our community special- great music, great food, and even greater company.

We were thrilled to welcome The Rockin' Chairs band led by a musician Alan Joseph who once performed with the legendary Everly Brothers! Their energy had everyone smiling, tapping, and even twisting along to the best of 50s Rock & Roll!

Our culinary team wowed us with a gourmet spread of fall-themed hors d’oeuvres that were as beautiful as they were delicious.

Most of all, the afternoon was overflowing with love, laughter, gratitude, and friendship. We are so thankful for the incredible residents, families, and staff who make this community feel like home every single day.

Here’s to many more celebrations together! 🍂🧡
