For 25 years I’ve worked in a variety of healthcare settings-the Boston and Bedford VA, MGH, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

I’ve owned a private practice for 20 years, and a habit coaching business for 10 years.

If you have been following me on social media you know I share tips you can easily implement for creating daily habits for productivity and self care.

I teach the psychology behind establishing consistent habits, and I share my personal journey of working on my own habits.

In my new role as a High Performance Consultant, I am offering individual coaching as well as team programs for organizations looking to support their employees by teaching better skills for working effectively, increasing productivity, and creating more time for self care.

My name is Carol and I’m a former member of the 40,000+ email clubπŸ˜’

Yes. Many years ago my email inbox was out of control.

It was terrible.

I constantly felt overwhelmed, scattered, and behind in life’s administrative tasks.

One day I YET AGAIN had to ask a friend to find me an imortant school email and I was mortified!!!

I realized I simply had to make my email a priority and get a handle on it.

I researched best practices for my system, implemented them, and would you believe I got that thing down to zero!

Years went by and at the of this summer I realized I was sliding back to old habits.

If you have read the book Atomic Habits by James Clear, you know that he talks about our habits as identities. For example, "I am someone who leaves the dishes in the sink overnight."

(gulp. yes I am :-) )

James suggests that it is easier to change a habit when you think about the person you want to be... the person who identifies as someone who conducts their day a certain way.

Well, I admit I used to be a "snooze til the last possible moment kind of person". Mornings were NOT pretty in my house. If you have met me in the past few years you may find this hard to believe but trust me! It's the truth.

That is, it WAS the truth until I realized it didn't have to be that way. Little by little I made changes to become the person I am today, someone who intentionally creates a peaceful morning.

In this new blog post I walk you through the process so YOU too can shed the old identity and adopt a new one.
