Today is the Melba Senior Center Food Pantry from 1-4 p.m. ANYONE that has a need is welcome. Just come on down to the center at 115 Baseline in Melba and get what you need. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, food etc!!

This 12 gauge Pardner Pump "Self Protector" shotgun was donated by Don Borchers and Buckhorn Gun Shop in Boise. It is valued at $450.00 and will be raffled off on July 4 at the Melba Senior Center with proceeds going to benefit the center.
Tickets are on sale for $5.00 each and can be purchased during business hours at the Melba Senior Center or by mail P.O. Box 153 Melba Idaho 83641. Please mail by June 28th to en-sure entering drawing on time. Make checks payable to Melba Senior Center.
You must go through a background check before taking own-ership of the gun.

The Melba Senior Center was donated boxes of organic lettuce, zucchini and radishes. We would love to make sure that they do not go to waste. Please come down today before noon and get some for your family, churches, or friends.

TODAY from 1- 4 p.m. MELBA COOMUNITY FOOD PANTRY at the Melba Senior Center--- Frozen French Fries, hashbrowns, bread, meat, fresh eggs, kale, canned goods, beans, and much more. Madge, Montanna and I went to breakfast at the new Panchos Mexican Restaurant in Melba, at the underground diner building (previously the Pub years ago).
It was sooo pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed the gals there and the food was yummy and reasonablely priced. I encourage you to check it out. They are just open on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings through about 2 or 3, I think. You can see it on the sign. I am just hoping they can get tv's in as they grow and offer a great place tto gather, eat and mingle.

Toys for Tots Drive
American Legion Post 126 in Melba is asking for donations of new unwrapped gifts for all kids, specifically boys age 7-12, however. The Toys for Tots drop box is inside Melba City Hall. Please help make the difference for less fortunate kids this Christmas. Toys are accepted during City Hall hours, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. until Friday Dec. 14.

Christmas in Melba, "A Centennial Christmas" meeting tonight at the Friends Church at 7 p.m.. If you want get involved, come on down!! love to have ya! Even the smallest help is appreciated. This event will be the final event for the 2012 centennial.

The celebration starts NOW!! Join the Melba High School in events in town. Melba Crimsonette Dance team is offering a free DANCE CLINIC!!! Come join the fun, learn a dance.
1pm.. Melba volleyball has MUD VOLLEYBALL in the lot next to Fly Logic.
4pm.. PIE A TEACHER! at Fly Logic, put on by the Melba cheerleaders
6:30pm head to the football field for a RED AND BLACK SCRIMMAGE withthe high school football team.
7:30pm CAKE AND ICE CREAM AND MUSIC at City Park!!
Fun begins again in the morning at 8am with the MAYOR SLAYOR RACE and CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST at the Senior Center... and much more through the day... stay tuned
