The boat is back and running.

I don’t post much boating content but boating/ fishing is one of my favorite chill hobbies. I’m stoked to share some more of this in the near future. I’d love to do some more fishing/ catch and cook content now that I have a reliable engine on the back. No this is not an ad haha but my old 2 stroke Yamaha had been giving me troubles for a long time because it was just old with many hours on it. It had its time and was great for years.

Anyway not my usual content haha but would you all be interested in this type of content for a change?

Also added a .pole 8ft Blade

Slowly but surely making this old boat new again.

Workout Today?

This is a question I ask myself every day and a few years ago I started putting up the poll on my IG stories. It keeps me accountable to stay consistent on a daily basis, with the goal of also helping others do the same.

Not every day needs to be an insanely hard workout ,but daily movement with the goal of improving is something we should all strive for.

There’s no other pair of shoes I what on my feet in between and after all of my workouts other than . And now every time I slip them on I get to remind myself I did that workout that I needed to do to get closer to my goals.

Recovery is part of the plan. Train hard, recover hard and make your goals come to life.

Full Ironman prep is off to a good start.

I took one week off after the Half and now I’m back motivated and ready to put in a good block.

These are my workouts from this weekend.

Saturday:
1 and a half hour run
2500 meter Open water ocean swim

Sunday: Brick workout
3 Hour bike / 3 minute run

Life lately 🙌🏽

Lots of highs and a few lows.

I’m grateful and blessed to experience it all.

Life will never go exactly as planned but that’s the beauty of it. It’s always great to have a plan but life usually has a better imagination.

Just live, do your best and see how it all shakes out.

Muncie 70.3 done ✅

Officially a half of an Ironman

Goal was sub 5 and we went 4:45:09

Very happy with the result. The heat was brutal to race in towards the end but I’m proud of the effort. After my last marathon performance I was questioning my fitness and overall mental grit. But I feel like I got it back today.

Stoked I got to race this one with my brother who absolutely crushed it.

Also massive thanks to my biggest supporter and best friend for always coming to support and keeping you all updated on the race throughout the day. She crushed it haha it wasn’t me posting mid race 😂.

Another big thanks to the team, and for getting all the content today 🙏🏽. Also one more haha, everyone who raced and came out to support it was amazing seeing you all out there keeping the vibes flowing.

Muncie 70.3 off to a great start! Swim finish was 33:29 and avg. bike pace is looking solid at 22.84💪🏼 Going to crush the rest of this ride and then finish strong on the run. So far, so good!
