What is spinal decompression? ✨

This treatment is often used to help treat herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, protruding disc, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and other forms of back pain. Depending on your specific case, we recommend doing a series of sessions with a combination of other forms of chiropractic treatment.

Nonsurgical Spinal Decompression is a treatment option that helps gently stretch the spine. This helps to take pressure off of the discs and nerves in your back. During a Spinal Decompression treatment, you’ll lay on a special motorized table. The top half of the table remains fixed while the bottom half of the table slowly moves and is controlled by an advanced computer system.

We fit you with a harness around your pelvis and another around your trunk. You’ll be positioned either face-up or face-down on the table, which is computer controlled to help gently stretch and decompress your spine. controls the table using the connected computer, customizing the treatment to your specific needs.

As your spine is stretched it takes pressure off the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc. That negative space gives herniated and bulging disks space where they may retract. This helps take pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine and ultimately leading to less pain and discomfort. This can also help increase the movement of other nutrient-rich fluids, water, and oxygen into the disks to promote healing.

Today I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Tamara Ghazi, President of the Emirates Chiropractic Association & owner of .uae. 🇦🇪

What a beautiful space to practice our profession of chiropractic! We had a great talk on what chiropractic is like in UAE and had a tour of the office. If you are ever in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Kuwait you have to check these clinics out!

This isn’t just chiropractic, but an amazing mix of health professionals to help you reach your maximum potential and health goals.

It is always so nice to see how far our profession goes and to meet other women in chiropractic as leaders as well!

This week has been such a bittersweet goodbye! It was my last week at FWMG as their St. Pete & Downtown Chiropractor! I’ve had the privilege of working with the sweetest patients and coworkers. Everyone has been so appreciative and there’s no greater gift as a provider. It’s been a blessing to see all who have gone through their journeys, and have trusted me with their health. I never take that for granted. I will miss all my patients so much!

With that being said, stay tuned to be a part of my next steps! I’m excited to see what God has in store for me ✨

This pregnant momma just had her last adjustment before her baby boy is here ! 💙She’s all ready for delivery!

Getting regular adjustments during pregnancy is great for many reasons:

-reduces labor time & smoother delivery
-reduce neck/low back/ joint pain
-faster recovery time
-pelvic balance
-reduces nausea

& yes, babies can be adjusted too ! 😉👶🏼👶🏽👶🏾
