THE DIFFERENCES:

Anxiety is essentially an inability to get s**t done out of fear. 😰

Introversion is feeling drained by social interactions and feeling fueled by alone time.

They both affect your life drastically AND they are both manageable.

🧑‍⚖️ Honoring your natural tendencies
🧘That’s yoga!

Follow me for more anti anxiety yoga.

When it comes to answering DMs and anxiety, try to work WITH your anxieties instead of against them.

Maybe you notice your anxiety is worse first thing in the morning
☀️
And eases through the day😌

Perhaps schedule time in the evenings or afternoons to answer DMs.

Maybe you notice your anxiety revs up when you feel a sense of urgency

⏲️ Think about setting a 24 hour rule for yourself - don’t answer any DMs until you’ve given yourself that time to destress about it.

Experiment 🧪

Find what works for you and roll with it - even if it’s not what the “experts” recommend…

Because, really, you’re the expert of you!

Instead of actually doing something that’ll make me money, I’ve spent the last 2 weeks thinking about:

🌐 how I’m not a website designer
💸 how much money I’ve spent on learning website design and still feeling unsure about website design
📊 everything and anything else I can do to feel “busy & productive”

Essentially, I didn’t take my own medicine.

But that stops today.

Saving myself time & money by taking my own advice!

Acknowledge it.
Validate those feelings.

So very incredibly grateful for the wonderful wishes I received!!!

Every year on my birthday I can’t help but think of the connections and people I’ve lost.

It’s a really strong neural connection I’ve created - to look for what’s lacking.

AND this year I’ve been working with an amazing therapist who’s helped me rewire those connections.

Anyways, my word of the year is ACCOUNTABILITY.

On my MOST ANXIOUS days, I wish I had something to guide me

with SPECIFIC ideas of what to do in the moment.

I remember:
😢 walking to class in college and hysterically breaking out in tears for no reason.
😰 anxiously awaiting for appointments, paralyzed by the fear of missing it or being late.
🛒 being unable to go to the grocery store… it’s just too much… too much.

This guide could’ve helped save me from so many embarrassing moments.
