⭐️🧩In April, we celebrate all things Occupational Therapy!⭐️🧩 School based Occupational Therapists/Therapist Assistants work in the school system to improve the academic success of students to ensure that each student has a positive educational experience! Occupational Therapy in the school system helps to address deficit areas that hinder classroom performance such as: sensory processing skills, visual motor skills, auditory processing skills, executive functioning/cognitive flexibility, fine motor coordination, fine motor precision, bilateral hand coordination, intrinsic hand strength, gross motor coordination, and social interaction skills.
