🔬✨ Technology Thursday at Brevard Regional Hyperbaric Center ✨🔬
At BRHC, we don’t just follow the future of wound care—we help lead it. For this week’s Technology Thursday, we're excited to highlight the groundbreaking tools we're using to diagnose, monitor, and radically improve healing outcomes for our patients.
🟢 Snapshot Glo– This powerful handheld device uses bacterial fluorescent imaging to instantly identify high bacterial burden in wounds. It lights up areas of concern in real-time, allowing us to guide debridement and tailor antimicrobial strategies more effectively. What used to be invisible is now impossible to miss.
🌈 Bacterial Fluorescent Imaging (BFI) – Seeing is believing. BFI helps us detect bacterial loads over 10⁴ CFU/g even when wounds appear clean to the naked eye. This empowers clinicians to intervene earlier, reducing the risk of infection, complications, and non-healing.
👀 See-Photo – Our newest integration! This advanced imaging platform captures high-resolution wound images that link directly with diagnostic findings. This improves documentation, supports treatment planning, and creates a visual story of the patient’s healing journey.
💡 These aren’t just tools—they’re part of a mission to transform care, save limbs, and restore lives. Every Thursday, we spotlight how technology meets compassion here at BRHC.
