He jumped into action, using makeshift tourniquets crafted under intense pressure to save an 11‑year‑old boy with life-threatening injuries. His quick thinking and readiness helped stop arterial bleeding and likely saved a life.
That kind of presence of mind is at the core of what we build: tourniquets designed for speed, reliability, and use under stress. While Rep. Van Orden used what he had in the moment, the reality is that our lives can hinge on access to proper, rapid bleeding control tools.
